Spacious Sicilian country house located in a secluded beautiful, breathtaking, rural location. 4 large bedrooms, just 4 miles from the bustling and busy historic centre of Sciacca and 6 miles from the best sandy beaches.This superb country house has recently been completely renovated and modernised whilst capturing all its original charm with beamed ceilings downstairs and upstairs, ceramic and hard floor boards. Very comfortably furnished to a high standard this contry house is spacious, yet cosym and has been very well equipped for self catering, with most of the fittings being new.

Ground floor: large drawing room with an ample supply of sofas and armchairs and a fireplace. The dining area is large, bright and airy with a wooden table that comfortably seats six and direct access onto the terrace through full length glazed door. The homey kitchen is well equipped for full self catering, microwave, toaster, blender. Full bathroom with shower and washing machine.

Upstairs: 1 air conditioned double bedroom + 2 twin bedroom (beds can be put together to make large beds. A 3rd bed can added in one of these bedrooms) + full bathroom (bathtub). Sofabed on the landing.

Stereo, satellite TV, DVD. Air conditioner and central heating.

The garden in the rear is for exclusive use of guests and comes with patio furniture. Sheltered barbecue

The property covers some 10 acres and is surrounded by hectares of olive groves with sweeping views of the Sicilian hinterland. As far as the eye can see, there are gently rolling hills covered with vineyards and olive groves.

On the ground floor the main entrance of the house takes you directly into the huge drawing room with wood burning fireplace and a stone staircase. The views from the house are absolutely stunning, with all the windows framing a picture of the lovely Sicilian countryside at its best. The spacious interiors have been restored to a very high standard, in an authentic country style and tastefully decorated with an interesting mix of furnishings and antiques. Wood ceilings and ceramics tile floors. One double bedroom downstairs, a lobby leads to a bathroom with shower. Behind a glass door a fully equipped kitchen with a wooden table that comfortably seats eight, stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, glassware, coffee-pot, microwave oven, boiler, coffee and tea maker, food processor, etc. The property is fully equipped for comfortable self catering, the appliances are new.  An excellent caliber of housekeeping (including linen, towels and blankets) is provided. The downstairs area opens into the furnished terrace with stunning view over the small medieval Baglio di Lucchese.

The first floor is under a sloping roof with exposed beams and floor boards. A flight of steps takes you on to a large landing with hand- made wood balustrade. The upstairs boasts a delightful view of the mountains. It consist in 2 large double bedrooms with beautiful view over the valley below and a bedroom with three single beds (a frouthe bed can be added). A  lobby leads you to the bathroom (with bathtub).  Air conditioner and central heating. Single beds can be added to upstairs bedrooms. The lay out is very comfortable and in keeping with the rustic character of the original farmhouse. A lot of light comes in through the windows. Though full countryside, you may reach the coast in only 15 minutes, where you may find several beaches.
